My Origin frustration thread

In the first 10 min QLD were offside nearly every tackle.

How many forward passes did they do?

How many times did they tackle us off the ball on kicks?

Refs always turn to shit in deciding matches, the NRL wants the game to go the last one so there are good crowds and interest in the game.

Nsw dominated in most areas for a majority of that game. Fucking stupid penalty given away by graham when we had them pinned on their line and the following drop ball cost the game

What on earth did Daley say at half time, NSW were flat and had no game plan except pass it to Graham or Hayne.

Pearce and Maloney just had to find touch in the 2nd half LMAO.

Hayne was brilliiant in the first half. Not his fault we lost this

He gifted qld more than one penalty, hogged the ball when he could have put Morris over, threw the ball out with a wasted no look tap on he could have caught and had a knock on in an attacking position. He did more bad than good despite doing one or two good things, mostly defensively.

In the end thw refs gave piggyback penalties to gift qld their first try and worked very hard piggybacking them to the last. Qld obstructed players from attacking the kicks multiple times yet refs wouldn't organise it. NSW did it once and were penalised. I have to say they made their rorting look less obvious than game three last year.

Realistically though, nsw were making metres at will for most of the game. Fifita at the end was just running sideways and hoping he'd somehow become the hero. By that stage though we had ample opportunity to do something with the ball and errors and poor decisions lost the game for them.

No it didn't. Qld had the momentum before that. Graham wasn't even trying to rake the ball.

Great refereeing 10 out of 10. Forward passes, illegal blocking. defenders up inside the 10, foot in touch no problem "try time"......all good if you're a Queenslander but that's enough sulking!!! Maybe if the blues played the game in the second half like they did in the first, instead of trying to protect the lead, maybe we would be celebrating an origin series win tonight.

You think Des coaches defensively and negatively. Wait until you see Daley - best players to choose from in NSW and goes full negative mode tactics in the 2nd, NSW played zero football what a shit spectacle.

He was terrible in defense the last 15min. Qld kept getting past him with their footwork.

Lol at the refs. Completely given the message from NRL HQ that this needs to go to a game 3 decider to generate ticket sales, sponsorship revenue and media interest to save their embarrassment of an organisation.

Not disagreeing with some of the very valid points re Pearce, Haynes non pass to Borris and Daleys interchanges, but what I thought really killed NSW was trying to just defend for the last 15 minutes. Sure as shit hasnt worked before and don't know why that was the message from the trainers.

I gotta say Pearce and in particular Maloney were massive duds in the 2nd half, all they had to do was manage the game a little bit better.

1. Find touch, give forwards a rest
2. No 20m 7 tackle sets

failed miserably to get those two basics right.

How can every single person in the world except the refs spot a pass that goes 2m forwards from a players hands?
Or miss Dugan getting taken out?

and why doesn't the Bunker step in when a strip on field is called and clearly it is not.

Then theres the Holmes try/no try (there's footage from behind him showing the foot on the line).

and don't get me started about the penalty fest in second half. I'd love to see where Qld got their penalties (times and position on field), as if the count WAS 6-4 to Qld, they got more than half of them in the second half.

Hayne's a hog though and had the chance to put Bmoz over unmarked but went for his second hero try instead.
