I think Des has killed his own career in the process. He'll never attract any sort of young talent again

I wonder if the problem with Lichaa is that he's not terribly quick with his thinking. Passing can be developed easily enough, and running hookers go purely instinctively. But Lichaa seems to get the ball with no plan in place hence why he's rarely able to pass more than one player wide of the ruck.

What's to think about? The half wants it you give it to him, if the half wants a forward to take it up you give it to the forward, if you see an opportunity with a quick play the ball you go for it. If you have to think much more than that somebody has over complicated things

I think him leaving confirms des will still be coach in 2018.

Not really I don't think we can afford to keep any off contract players tbh
