The reason there are so many mods, is because access is rarely revoked, even though some mods lay dormant for a long time. Why is there so many mods, do they get paid or just do it for entertainment?
What is the Criteria and responsibility?
There is a Mod Lounge, but the threads are pretty open for discussion, and created by numerous moderators not just myself.Entertainment. I heard there's a special mod forum where @Mr Invisible talks to himself and the other mods have a giggle. Just a rumour i heard.
Are the mods against you also mate? They have full access to ypur account and inbox. How does that make you feel ?Why is there so many mods, do they get paid or just do it for entertainment?

Surely if they access your 'private message ' inbox. that's a breach of privacy isn't it?Are the mods against you also mate? They have full access to ypur account and inbox. How does that make you feel ?
Nope.. and all forum software packages have the ability for mods/admins (if relevant permissions are enabled) to access Private Messages.Surely if they access your 'private message ' inbox. that's a breach of privacy isn't it?

Bet you guys have threads for certain members and talk shit. I know i would haha. The reason there are so many mods, is because access is rarely revoked, even though some mods lay dormant for a long time.
The position is all volunteer based, and non paid.
Criteria for becomming a mod is normally one of two ways.
1. Apply directly by emailling info @ thekennel.net.au. Your application will then be discussed amongst fellow moderators, and the number of active mods taken into consideration.
2. Be noticed by a fellow moderator and put up for discussion under the Mod Lounge.
Responsibility is mainly just enforcing the rules of The Kennel (we are given loose rules to go by), and every moderator has their own style. In the event of bans/trouble makers they are put up for discussion under the Mod Lounge along with any other issues that need to be highlighted about the forum. Admins really only step in if required (e.g seeking permission/advisory of a permaban), or if site changes are required.
Hope that answers everything.

It's the only way to discuss actions required against members that create no end of trouble.Bet you guys have threads for certain members and talk shit. I know i would haha.
Lol you had a few back when you were an inconsistent fringe first grader. I always saw the potential and vouched for ya and it's paid off now. Part of the leadership group, representative honours in the paper and a poster people can truly look up to. I'd like to think of myself as the Mulholland of the board tbh. With Reynolds out of the picture who knows the heights that you could rise to in the future lolBet you guys have threads for certain members and talk shit. I know i would haha.
