Problem is that we play the same way as Panthers. And Parra seem to be able to beat Panthers during the season. Might be Parra's very attacking structure. That said, I feel we can score more points than the Panthers when required.

You can see when team play through the middle we tire towards the end of games. Titans for some reason decided rather than go through us they would go around us. It was a silly game plan. Our backline is better than the Titans one. There forward pack on the other hand.

Too many of you underestimate what a difference get the guys fitter will have on the whole squad. Might not win the comp, but you can be contending each week when your fitter, and that will win you the close games cause you can go that bit longer.

I don't think we need second rowers. Our backups aren't the best but do the job. It's middles and more middles. Bullfrog knew what we needed.

It's more than that though. Setting those training standards is the main thing. You need to train like a contender before you can be one. And funnily enough once you start doing that, our best players can start to shine which makes things look a lot better.

Tariqs best days are behind him. I really don't see how he adds anything to the Bulldogs other than depth.

Honestly I don't see this being a bad thing. Reed comes on after 15-20mins against a tiring defence. Like how Api was used at the Panthers. Jakes is there just to make those early tackles and maybe provide another spell for Reed depending on how we are going.
