    Hutchinson is a momentum killer

Thank you billy-beane, J_B and GoThe Doggies. I get so frustrated at the pile on from so many here on the kennel. Hutch is in FG because he is playing to the GAME PLAN (attack and defence). If he wasn’t he would be in NSW Cup. If you want to have a bitch then bitch to CC about his game plan...

    Hutchinson is a momentum killer

Pretty sure he and CC already know. Pretty sure they have their own people taking comprehensive stats on each player in every grade. Then they review every grade over the first few days of the next week. Not sure what value you will add.

Romano Cook at hooker. Turps was playing great football as loose forward for much of first half both in defence and attack.

    Opinion Lachlan Ilias

We could all produce a similar list for everyone of our players. Eg. Burton’s turnstile tackle to let the first Knights try in or Taffe’s shocking over read to let in the Knights second try- drop Burton, drop Taffe lol. If we took your approach we would have no one run on the field to...

Opinion Did Dogs fans boo Hutchison

You did see Burton’s Turnstile defence in the first half last week to let in Newcastle’s first try!!!! And Taffe’s shocking defensive lapse in the last minute to let in Newcastle’s second try!! Drop Burton Drop Taffe

Opinion Did Dogs fans boo Hutchison

Not sure who your ‘someone’ is but if he was relying on the missed/ ineffective tackle count then he has no idea. One of the basics of CC’s defence strategy is for Mahoney (middle), Hutch (right) and Salmon (left) to be up in the face of the attacker ASAP. While CC would obviously prefer an...

    Stat dive - defence analysis

As I wrote in another thread, the last try against the knights was a direct result of our half being rested. For 70 minutes there had not been a single break down our right side then Taffe came on and over read the play. Best strolls through a yarning gap to score.

    OFFICIAL | POST-GAME Round 7 | Post game | Bulldogs 36 - 12 Knights

Absolute disgrace and shows just how many supporters have no Rugby League IQ. They only had to wait 10 minutes to see how Hutch’s absence affected our right defence. Not one line break down that side for 70 minutes. Hutch off, Taffe over reads the play and Best strolls over for an embarrassing...

24 players used in FG up to Round 5

Looking at possible team selections for this next Round I found it interesting that we have already used 24 players in FG so far this season. With Suluka-Fifita, Oloapu and Sutton long term injuries and Topine also unavailable we have only had 32 players to select from and we have already used...
