Is Sexton the first player to ever get dropped? Why are all these journos getting bent out of shape on his behalf? It’s elite sport, not ‘everyone gets a ribbon’.
Galvin often looked out of sync with the team against the Broncs at 5/8. Hopefully his creativity works at half cause he's pretty impulsive and I'm not sure he can contain it. Couldn't get a much better draw to try it for a few weeks I guess.
My ACL snapped and withered - scans show two dangly bits that don't meet in the middle. Knee is fine in a straight line but doesn't like going sideways. Being able to play top sport with it does happen but is pretty super-human.
We've had our first origin-affected season for ages and a lot of injuries and suspensions through the last couple of months. Galvin's signing added to the disruption but it's not the only thing affecting our form. We either got him now or Parra did. It's better for us long term IMO and we...
I like all our spine players but overall it's mid range IMO. Toby's the most mid for me and we just need something different. We succeed on the back of strong defence and great players like Kiks, Kiraz, King and Critta outside the spine. Burto's long kicking's a great asset and Tracey goes all...
Dean Ritchie psycho-analysing the tweet and getting all bent out of shape like a 12 year old was pretty weird. Though Tallis made a good point that what Luai and Teruva did was no worse.
I watched him a bit at centre and wing and I rate him as genuine FG, back then at least. Better suited to centre IMO. Not express but decent pace. Saw him in a NSW cup game recently and he was pretty ordinary, but I reckon he'll become decent FG backup at least.
Ennis knew how to use Tolman as a decoy but he was a magnet for Lichaa every time. Lichaa cruelled him and the team and is still our worst buy ever IMO.
Agree about Tracey. He'll never be a Walsh or Ponga but he does a pretty good job at a cut-price Teddy. Takes so much pressure off the...
We've done it before. Beat Dragon's in the 67 finals to end 11 straight, beat the roosters in '76 finals to end their run and beat Parra in the 84 Gf after their 3 in a row. Also knocked Raiders and Broncs out in the '95 finals to end their period of dominance. It's been a while but time to go...
