Why does football hate me?

I tried this question on some English chaps and they turned it upon themselves so perhaps someone here will be able to answer better.

Football is so utterly cruel towards me right now but I have no idea what I have done to deserve such little luck.

Oh I should add that I am going to Suncorp next Saturday to see Sydney officially knocked out of the finals.

they just had a bad off season

and sydney will be okay as well

*Adelaide 1-0 with the winner coming only 3 minutes from full time after Sydney had played so god damn well. The loss meaning Sydney will most likely miss the finals since I can't see them winning next week

*They played well last week and didn't deserve to lose.

*There have been many other games invloving the teams I support Australia and Villa that have been equally as cruel.

These lead me to the conclusion that football hates me and I'd like to know what I did to it.
