500k per season for 2 years I think. What have we offered him?
Around a $1m for 2 years. He didn't even play for Tonga either, do you know why? What have we offered him?
Absolute rubbish500k per season for 2 years I think.
Excuse my ignorance, but shouldn't the details of a release be worked out prior to the signing?Sen.com.au. From Michael Carayannis
However, Carayannis noted that the Bulldogs are yet to announce the signing of premiership winning forward Sio Siua Taukeiaho.
“Still not announced is Taukeiaho who has signed for the Bulldogs for next season on a good money deal,” Carayannis added.
“That’s because he hasn’t officially been released from Catalans (in the Super League).
“He still has a deal with Catalans and Catalans are still trying to work out with the Bulldogs what sort of compensation they will receive to release him.
“He arrived at the club as a marquee signing and he has only played seven games this year.
“It hasn’t worked out for Catalans.”
Agreed, 500k for 2 seasons is too much, nevermind 500 per seasonAbsolute rubbish
In a perfect world, he would be part of a trade i.e. Topine or RFM. Not sure how we even fit him in our top30 otherwiseSen.com.au. From Michael Carayannis

We desperately need middles. Whats Gus's saying ..... just when you think you have enough middles go out and buy one or two more!! Hopefully these middles are finally arrivingcould save the money and give bonuses to well performing players.
Is it true we were gonna swap him for a half eaten red rooster dinner boxSo I take that this place once again overreacted yesterday when everyone assumed he was off to the roosters?
RFM sounds like good compensationSen.com.au. From Michael Carayannis

Maybe injured lol 500k for two years is not a huge contract tbhAround a $1m for 2 years. He didn't even play for Tonga either, do you know why?
depends how you look at it. You could have a minimum wage player instead and use the difference in funds on a marquee, someone who has a higher chance of making a difference/change. If we look at someone like Sutton a minimum wage player would of been better instead.Maybe injured lol 500k for two years is not a huge contract tbh
It's huge for a player that is physically finished and has publicly admitted that. There's also been some talk about him wanting to box, yay.Maybe injured lol 500k for two years is not a huge contract tbh
I would rather pay 500 for SST than 850 for Thommo. I agree but 500 should not prevent us approaching a marquee. With our squad I’m not sure how we are even close to the capdepends how you look at it.
