You're a year out, signed for us in the middle of 2019, and then signed for the Warriors in the middle of 2021.

Always a Bulldog
Ok but he extended his contract again before he left.. it either ends this year or next

We tried turning him into a fullback thats why.. hes not a fullback
That’s not why he didn’t fire here. We have a disruptive culture, like we all see now, just a bunch of guys wearing the jersey. We need a team, foundation in that team, players whom play for an trust one another. The process we have in place here doesn’t work and is not working.

link: Warriors on the verge of signing Bulldogs winger - NRL News

Watene-Zelezniak has a year left on his contract and is reported to earn $800,000 next season and the Warriors hope that the Bulldogs will contribute to his wage demands.

The Kiwi international has scored five tries in nine appearances for the Bulldogs in 2021.

The Warriors are searching for a winger to replace Ken Maumalo, who has joined the Wests Tigers effective immediately.

Watene-Zelezniak joined the Bulldogs from Penrith in 2019 and has made 37 appearances across three seasons.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have made a major move in the player market by signing Canberra Raiders outside back, Nick Cotric for the next three years.

2022 was the last year we were contributing to DWZ. 2023 is the last year for Cotric and Allan. You just need to find how many years they had left to run on their Bulldog contract.
