Lol if we were offering him anything close to $1 million a season on cap, it's a good thing the deal was blown out of the water.... not to mention the potential salary cap implications. 1 million for a prop. that will do me. Just locate some young emerging talent that can go hard but won't cost a mint, it's not rocket science.

Greed is the downfall of humanity...
I will repeat what I have previously said...If we can't recognise the amazing job Gus Khoury and the board are doing we do not deserve a team to follow !!!
Absolutely

Don't feed the trolls. Gus would have said let Buzz and company pontificate. They are the ones who will look silly at the end.
Yeah but it’s just bringing bad publicity towards the bulldogs even tho no one in rugby league takes that old prick buzz seriously

Only the club can change the perception. And that's about getting results. The NRL media always punches downwards on Sydney based teams. It drives clicks. Just look at the West Tigers. I'm sure it isn't as bad as it looks off the field, but no success means that until it comes questions will be asked.

I don’t like Buzz at all and I’m an advocate of Gus but the story is very plausible. I kinda believe the whole thing to a degree. I just think Laundy opened up and trusted the wrong person. Probably shouldn’t have even talked about attracting players, what it takes etc
None of Buzz’s business.
The story is false. What’s plausible is the dogs wanting to have a meeting with Tino and his manager. What’s also plausible is Laundy having investment opportunities for players of all sports not just NRL.
Buzz then asks, ‘would you offer the same to Tino to get him to the Dogs’ to which Arthur responds ‘in a heart beat’. It’s good old fashioned journalism. Buzz has been working on this for quite some time, not just this week. He was waiting on the player to use as bait and it happened to be Tino. Buzz has also obviously built a relationship with Arthur to eventually do something like this to him. This is why Buzz is hated. He does this for a living. Wouldn’t believe a word out of his mouth.

I agree with everything you said but what I don’t understand is why a successful business man would speak to a clown like buzz at all. especially considering the clear agenda he has against our club. Those quotes are the dumbest shit I ever heard

I honestly believe that Arthur was taken advantage of. I highly doubt Buzz asked him any of these questions, he probably sounded like he was really keen to hear more about these investment opportunities and Arthur thought good of it because they were friends? That's how I see it playing out in my mind.

It really makes you question the medias responsibilities and due dililgence when it comes to reporting on the NRL. They are paying millions to broadcast it, then are earning back millions by throwing the game, clubs and players through the mud with their reporting. I'm not sure if you follow NBA or any american sport? They are so much more professional with how they report, aside from Skip whos is a Buzz clone, they are extremely professional. We are so far behind...

I'm sure there would have been an incentive there for Arthur. Who knows. To be honest, Arthur seems like a slimey business man himself. They probably shared escorts or something lol

Very strategic from RLPA to boycott media. They knew they'd get a reaction out of them, which they did. Straight away brought to light the issues the NRL are still sitting on. I saw an interview yesterday with Tamou where he claims NRL did not inform players of 28mil that was owing to them (or their funds?) and that if not for an external review it would have gone unnoticed. Yet the media still want to argue that the average player wage is 400k and this should be enough reason to get on with it lol

Surely Arthur isn’t this naive. This has the ability to blow up in our face if we are not careful. I see Gus has met with Holbrook which is interesting. Would be a good addition to the coaching staff and might help bring Tino over. Gus is swanging that dick around at the moment
